Udder Barn is a recent project whereby we renovated an old, derelict barn that was on our land and restored it to its former glory. The barn conversion was a labour of love, with us having to comply with the English Heritage Trust to ensure that the historical character of the barn was kept in tact.
The result is a holiday let that we’re very proud of — sitting right on the edge of a huge expanse of Lincolnshire farmland that stretches as far as the eyes can see. Take a look at our Lincolnshire holiday let.
We’ve spared no expense when it comes to decorating the barn and we hope that you’ll appreciate the cosy style that we’ve gone for. Udder Barn is a completely self-contained holiday let with its own kitchen and bathroom facilities. We’ll be there to welcome you, but apart from that we’ll leave you to enjoy your break unless you need anything from us.
Udder Barn is in an ideal location for you if you’re looking to take advantage of the fantastic attractions that Lincolnshire has to offer. We’ve even put together a specific page to act as a virtual tour guide for you if you’re planning to visit us. Visit our local attractions page.
You’ll find Udder Barn particularly interesting if you’re looking for Burghley Horse Trials Accommodation.
Please do note that Udder Barn is situated in a rural area — meaning that you will hear the sounds of working farms that are nearby at times.

Please also note that we are proud to be celebrating 25 years in the haulage trade and do run from Poplar Farm, a three generation family haulage business. On weekdays there is movement of vehicles for approximately 15 minutes in the mornings while the drivers arrive and the lorries leave the yard. These vehicles return late afternoon. Because we are so rural and quiet, this may seem noisy, but we endeavor to keep it as quick and quiet as possible.
We’re located in an area of Lincolnshire called The Fens. The Fens offer a great rural location and, because of the flat landscape, you get some astonishing views of the great English countryside.
